For the National Agency for Sanitation and Public Health (ANASP), the French Development Agency (AFD) and the European Union, Insuco participated in the Final Restitution Workshop of the Feasibility Study for the Structuring of Conakry’s Waste Management Sector organized by Burgeap. The project envisages not only the structuring of waste management, but also the improvement of the regulatory, environmental and institutional framework to provide the capital of Guinea with operational infrastructures. Fanny Nesen, Project Coordinator, presented the work prepared by our international experts: the Resettlement Policy Framework and the Environmental and Social Management Framework. The objective: to minimize the impacts of the project on communities and ensure compliance with national and international obligations regarding relocation and compensation of affected populations.
