Step 2. Role-playing for REDD+ in Burkina: ACTION
As part of its project for the Forest Investment Programme (PIF), the Insuco- CIRAD team carried out the first field phase from 2 to 10 November 2021 in the two pilot communes of Bakata and Sapouy. This stage made it possible to adapt the TerriStories® tools and methodology to the current Burkinabe context. For example, the team was confronted with the reality of the presence of internally displaced persons, which should be integrated into the development problems of the territories. Event” cards symbolising the presence of this type of “new local actors” had to be added to the maps of the TerriStories® game.
