Mission:
Insuco was retained to identify and map the users’ habits and practices in the public and private space of the urban area of Turgeau. This Port-au-Prince’s neighborhood is currently experiencing a shift of urban use, from a residential to a commercial and services’ concentration function. This mandate is part of a serie of studies ordered by the client with a view of proposing alternatives to enhance the urban mobility in the neighborhood of Turgeau, through punctual and reduced-costs solutions.
Results:
The following deliverables were given to the client:
- Socio-urban analysis of uses and practices in Turgeau
- Summary map of uses in the public space
- Summary map of uses in private space
- Georeferenced database of uses in the study area
