Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

The mission consisted in advising and accompanying Sahanala in the realization of a study of the octopus, cidada, fish and lobster sectors in order to understand the levels and dynamics of exploitation, the flow circuits and the main actors upstream of the sectors as well as the potential for valorization in view of Sahanala’s long term objectives of better management of the fishery resources.

Results:

The following deliverables were provided to the client:

• A presentation of the mission’s methodological orientations;
• A brief note on the return from the training mission in the field;
• The training materials ;
• Interview guides;
• A database cleaned following the data collection carried out by Sahanala;
• A few narrative paragraphs to accompany a few infographics on the sectors.
