Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

To provide technical advisory services to the Embassy of Canada in Colombia in defining, designing, and evaluating metrics and Results-Based Payment schemes for climate change adaptation interventions, with an emphasis on agroforestry systems and proper water resource management, within the framework of international cooperation projects aiming at increasing the effectiveness and sustainability of interventions.

Results:

• Narrative work plan and GANTT chart outlining activities for developing expected deliverables and achieving the consultancy’s objective.
• Technical document, based on consultations with relevant entities and literature review, informing the Embassy of Canada in Colombia about best practices in climate adaptation using agroforestry systems and water resource management.
• Payment matrix for a climate change adaptation intervention through agroforestry systems and proper water resource management under a Results-Based Payment scheme.
• Specialized advisory sessions on Results-Based Payments.
• Document providing documentary inputs for a methodological guide for result measurement and payment calculation.
