Organization of a capitalization workshop of the Urbayiti program of the Haitian State, aiming to contribute to the economic and social development of Haiti and the resilience of urban populations through the improvement of the management and quality of cities
Mission:
The Urbayiti program – Urban Governance and Resilient Cities is a program of the Haitian State, financed by the European Union (EU), in co-financing with the Spanish and French cooperation. Launched in 2018, the program’s main objective is to contribute to the economic and social development of Haiti and the resilience of urban populations through the improvement of the management and quality of life of cities. Given the complexity of the coordination of the program, the diversity of partners (11 operators for the implementation of 13 projects) and the tools used in the implementation, Expertise France commissioned the organization of a capitalization workshop to highlight the good practices to be retained, the models and/or processes to be adjusted and the elements to be abandoned on the activities/tools/documents that were linked to the supervision/coordination of the steering of operations, the measurement of performance or the reporting of information.
Results:
Insuco provided the following services:
- Document review and structuring of collection tools;
- Conducting preliminary interviews with all partners of the Urbayiti program;
- Organization and co-animation of a capitalization workshop in person and online with representatives of the program partners.
