Mission:
The main objective of the consultancy carried out by Insuco in Phase 1 (2022), Phase 2 (2023, 2024, and for this contract in 2025) was to support the coal mining company Colombian Natural Resources (CNR), located in the department of Cesar, Municipality of El Paso, in implementing resettlement obligations under the individual resettlement modality, covering a total of 201 families from the El Hatillo community.
Results:
- Insuco’s responsibilities included managing information by collecting and analyzing historical data on the resettlement process
- Disseminating CNR’s obligations to families relocated from El Hatillo who opted for individual resettlement, and handling complaints, inquiries, and requests (PQR).
- Preparation of documents for the individualization of obligations, implementation of a physical and digital document management system, and execution of the obligations under the Livelihood Restoration Plan (PRMV), including compensation for relocation allowances and household service payments.
- Insuco supported complementary programs related to the Social and Cultural Networks Program, designed methodologies for psychosocial support to vulnerable populations, implemented communication strategies for the assigned programs, and conducted monitoring, evaluation, and the design of relevant indicators.
