Specific study of compilation and analysis of available data from the Haitian education sector, from preschool to the university sub-sector including vocational training, in order to guide the action of a charitable foundation involved in the sector
Mission:
The Fondation Connaissance et Liberté (or FOKAL in Haitian Creole) has been involved in the Haitian education sector since 1995, on a national scale. For many years, it has received a grant from the Kellogg Foundation, which particularly supports initiatives in the sector. Noting the profound disarticulation between the multiple actors investing in the sector, the mission consisted of drawing up an inventory of the profile of the data available on the Haitian education sector, from the different actors involved, from the preschool sub-sector to the university, including professional training, with the aim of guiding the prospects for future actions of the FOKAL Foundation and the Kellogg Foundation.
Results:
Insuco provided the following deliverables:
- A framing note;
- A draft report
- A final report;
- Five (5) factsheets summarizing the main data centralized for the study.
