Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

Insuco was mandated to conduct a formative research on road safety in Haiti and assess the results and progresses made under the National Strategy on Road Safety (2015-2020) – a strategic document drafted by the Government of Haiti in the context of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020. Several semi-directive interviews with key-stakeholders and focus groups with road accident’s victims were held to reach the objectives of the study. In addition to this, Insuco was invited as a contributor to the road safety round-table discussion organized by Humanity and Inclusion (H&I) in November 2019 to present the advocacy recommendations drafted by Insuco for the Client.

Results:

The following deliverables were provided to the Client:

• Inception report;
• Final report;
• Policy note for decision-makers.

Also, the results of the formative research were presented by Insuco during a roundtable conference on the safety road perspectives in Haiti organized by H&I.
