Recent and ongoing projects

Mission:

As part of a project to improve road transport capacity between Djibouti City and Ethiopia, Insuco has been commissioned to carry out a technical study of the corridor.
The project was divided into 2 missions:

1. A complete tour of the corridor (190 km of road) with videos, photos, GPS points and comments to give an accurate overview of the state of the road;
2. Organise videoconferences with transport and transit companies operating on the corridor (4 companies). The aim is to collect as much data as possible on road and rail traffic, transport habits, types of goods, etc.

Results:

• Detailed GPS points collected every 2km
• Results of questionnaires carried out among various stakeholders working within transportation and transit sectors
