Mission:

​The French Development Agency (AFD) plans to support the extension and renovation of the national electricity transmission network in Pakistan. AFD has been in regular dialogue with the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) since 2015. The objective of the new Project is to continue to support the improvement of the national transmission network, by increasing its capacity, making extensions, and reducing technical losses.

AFD has mandated Insuco to develop an Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) and a Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF) adapted to the context of 3 targeted localities.

Results:

Insuco has delivered the following deliverables: 

  • An Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF);
  • A Resettlement Policy Framework (RPF).
