Realization of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) and the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) of the ORELO project of reinforcement and securing of the drinking water supply of Libreville in Gabon
Client : ORELO (FGIS-Eranove consortium)
Mission:
As part of the strategy to strengthen and secure Libreville’s drinking water production capacity, the FGIS-Eranove consortium has signed a concession agreement with the Republic of Gabon for the development of a new drinking water production plant and the associated raw water withdrawal and supply infrastructure and electrical connections. The new plant will be built in the locality of Ntoum to reinforce the existing plants.
Within the framework of the ORELO project to reinforce the drinking water supply to Libreville, Insuco has been entrusted with the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, the Environmental and Social Management Plan and the Resettlement Action Plan.
Results:
The following deliverables were provided to the client:
- A Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP);
- An Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA);
- An Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP);
- A Livelihoods Restoration Plan (LRP);
- Resettlement Action Plan (RAP).
