Technical Assistance for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) of the Kékéli Thermal Power Plant Project
Client : Kékéli Efficient Power S.A / Eranove Group
Mission:
The Eranove Group is planning to build a thermal power plant called Kékéli Efficient Power in the port area of Lomé (Togo). The Kékéli project is strategic for the Republic of Togo as it is in line with the government’s policy in terms of access to electricity and respond to the country’s growing electricity needs.
It is in this framework that Insuco has been mandated to carry out technical assistance for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) of the Kékéli project thermal power plant.
Results:
The following deliverables have been submitted to the client:
- 1 ESIA (with associated Social Management Plan and Stakeholder Engagement Plan) reviewed and validated by Insuco;
- 1 RAP reviewed and validated by Insuco.
