Environmental and Social Operational Manual and preliminary Gender Action Plan for the Smart Urban Mobility and Reliable Transport (SUMART) Programme in Turkey

Mission:
Insuco was tasked with developing an Environmental and Social Operational Manual, as well as a preliminary Gender Action Plan, for the Smart Urban Mobility and Reliable Transport (SUMART) Programme in Türkiye. The SUMART programme is managed by Iller Bank (ILBANK) and funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and the European Union. The aim of the mission was to provide ILBANK and AFD with guidance on the identification, analysis and management of environmental and social risks related to mobility and transport projects within Turkish cities. This guidance covers project selection as well as the preparation, construction, and operation phases of the selected projects.
