Mission:
The mission consisted in conducting a gap analysis of the Terms of Reference (TOR) established in 2022 and published by the Government of Mozambique for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of the Mphanda Nkuwa dam and developing an environmental and social risk analysis.
Results:
The following deliverables were provided to the client:
- A Gap Analysis of the 2022 Terms of Reference for a new ESIA;
- A risk analysis report on the socio-environmental context of the project, allowing TotalEnergies to decide on its Go/NoGo decision;
- An environmental and social summary of the power line.
