Collection of qualitative information for the social diagnosis of the pre-feasibility study of the Esmeraldas green infrastructure plan
Mission:
Yes Innovation was commissioned to carry out the pre-feasibility study of four projects from the Colinado Seguro and Ecological Urban Resilience programs of the PIV, in order to choose one to develop at the pre-project level. The projects aim to integrate ecosystem-based solutions into public space and increase the adaptive capacity of Esmeraldas. As part of the pre-feasibility study, Insuco worked on the initial social diagnosis of the four projects and on the social analysis of the selected project. To do this, secondary information was analyzed and primary information was collected in order to assess the potential socio-environmental impact and design the process and mechanisms for socialization and citizen participation.
Results:
The following results were provided to the client:
- Initial social diagnosis of the 4 sites defined by the UNDP for the green infrastructure plan in Esmeraldas;
- Social analysis for the selected project.
