Capitalization of the FORSNUT (Strengthening the health system and actors in the North-West due to malnutrition) project on community-based organizations (CBO) in the promotion of good health practices – Haïti

Mission:
Since 2019, ID, in consortium with MdM Canada, has been carrying out a project to strengthen the health system in the face of malnutrition in the 10 communes of the North-West department of Haiti, funded by the European Union. This project aimed to strengthen the actors (communities, institutions, particularly health institutions).
At the end of three years of activity, the consortium wanted to capitalise on the role of CBOs in this project, in order to highlight the lessons learned, good practices, added value and difficulties encountered, for NGOs and institutions wishing to set up development programmes based on health promotion, placing CBOs at the heart of the process.
Results:
Insuco Haiti provided the following deliverables:
- A scoping report including the analysis of the documentation and the proposed collection tools,
- A summary capitalisation report,
- A support document for the dissemination of the capitalization.
