We were honoured and very happy to participate in the 2019 annual conference of the IGU Commission on Geography of Governance, organized in Praia by the International Geographical Union (IGU) and the University of Cape Verde from the 4th to the 7th of September 2019. This year, the conference aimed to discuss and explore the following theme: “Local and urban governance: trends, challenges and innovations in a globalizing world”. Our Chief Executive Officer, Pascal Rey, and our Country Director in Guinea, Margot Petitpierre, had the opportunity to share Insuco expertise in urban resettlement actions by presenting the disparities in the treatment of project affected people (PAP) according to the way infrastructure projects are financed.
