“A new look at access to information: What do international mineral certifications offer? “
We continue adding to the objective of strengthening voluntary sustainability certifications and initiatives that recognise the value of the participation of territorial actors in their design and implementation, and that contribute to the consolidation of a sustainable, modern and respectful mining industry in the contexts where it operates.
On 10 and 11 May, Guillen Calvo, Director General LAC INSUCO, participated in a session of the Working Group “A new look at access to information: What do international mineral certifications offer? “in Lima, chaired and developed by the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) and the MinSus Programme of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR), on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
